Schouw Informatisering celebrates 12.5 year jubilee
Etten-Leur, October 6th 2010 – Today Microsoft Dynamics® ERP specialist Schouw Informatisering celebrates its 12.5 year jubilee. In this period of time, John Schouw’s one man start-up has grown out to be become an international organization with 75 employees and resellers in 10 countries. This growth is mainly due to a dedicated focus on the food-industry and no-nonse mentality. This focus commenced by coincidence. Seven out of ten of Schouw Informatisering first customers came from the food-industry. The amount of knowledge that was generated about this industry in this period became the base of the decision to fully focus on the food-industry. In 2005 this expertise was translated in the food-industry specific software standard SI Foodware®. This piece of software serves as an add-on for Microsoft Dynamics NAV®. This software combination has been implemented at no less than 120 customers since it was released and nine foreign software resellers distribute this successful combination in their native markets. Time to sit back and enjoy the success is not an option for Schouw Informatisering. Reinforcement of industry knowledge, product development and optimalisation of the implementation methodology has been a constant priority over the last years. The start of the second SI Trainee Program in September with six ambitious trainees and the addition of Dynamics AX to the product portfolio are great examples of how Schouw Informatisering prepares itself for the future. The addition of Dynamics AX opens the possibility to serve customers that use multiple locations in multiple countries and often operate with complex company processes. The development of the SI FoodFit methodology is another mayor improvement in order to serve the customer even better. This methodology makes it possible to shorten implementation courses (often over 50% in time) and improve them in quality severely.
