Role Tailored Client
The combination of Microsoft Dynamics ERP and SI Foodware is also available on the ‘Role Tailored Client’ (RTC). A role-based environment is what differentiates the RTC from the more static ‘classic’ environment, the standard for earlier versions. RTC users can choose from different roles that have been pre-defined (and can be customized) especially for their particular role within the organisation.
The main advantage of the RTC is that users will only see the information that is relevant for their daily activities. Information is presented in a transparent and structured way. Reduced complexity and better task prioritization, resulting in improved productivity and fun. Dynamics NAV and AX come with a standard set of roles such as the Sales Order Processor, the Production Planner and the Accounting Manager. SI Foodware adds another set of food-specific roles to the solution (such as the Quality Manager), as well as adding food specific functionality to existing roles.
