Schouw Informatisering
In 1998, Schouw Informatisering started implementing ERP-solutions. As a result of a number of succesful projects within the food and beverage industry, Schouw Informatisering decided for a dedicated focus towards this type of companies. As a result of this decision, Schouw has gathered an extensive amount of knowledge and experience regarding the problems of these companies. Besides, the organisation has been able to develop a large amount of specific functionalities.
European Research Centre
Within Schouw Informatisering, the European Research Centre is responsible for the continuous development of products and services. This team has been created to support the development of the products of Schouw Informatisering in a structural way. Automatically, this is therefore one of the most important tasks of the team. Besides, the development of products and services, the team is also responsible for the worldwide distribution of SI Foodware.
SI Foodware
Together with the start of the European Research Centre, Schouw Informatisering has also decided to develop a standard solution, SI Foodware. The most important components of SI Foodware were the Schouw Standard Components. The Schouw Standard Components were the functionalities that came out of the projects of Schouw Informatisering and by now, as a whole, are the solution SI Foodware. Now that SI Foodware is a standard solution for the food and beverage indsutry, it is the task of the European Research Centre to keep the solution up to date. In cooperation with customers, resellers, developers and industry professionals, the team is continuously looking out if other functionality is needed within SI Foodware.
